We’re proud to make all of our lenses in our own factory through a fully automated process. Unlike companies that offer lenses made by humans, we have full control over every step of the precision process. That means your lenses are always made to exact specs, and will fit the same way they would when fitted to your prescription by our eye care professional.
All of our contacts are 100% HSA/MOH approved. In fact, our contacts even approved by the regulatory bodies from United States, European Union, Brazil, Canada, Japan, Malaysia, South Korea, etc.
We care so much about making your eyes smile, that we’ve developed our own technology to ensure comfort, clear vision, and eye health. Here’s what makes up every Aveo contact lens:
- Premium Omafilcon A with 58% water content for all-day comfort
- AquaLock Technology for long-lasting hydration and natural biocompatibility
- Aspheric optics design for outstanding HD vision
- BlissEdge Design for a comfortable lens fit and better tear exchange

Contact Lens 101
Got questions about contact lenses? We have answers! Take a look through our most frequently heard questions, and always check with our eye care professional if you’re unsure.
We recommend taking your contacts out before sleep, including naps. Even a short rest can cause dryness and irritation. Wearing any contacts longer than their intended use can cause infections or even serious harm to your eyes.
Daily disposable contact lenses are meant to be discarded at the end of the day, every time you wear them.
Monthly replacement contact lenses should be discarded at the end of the month or as recommended by our Eye Care Professional.
In most cases, having dry eyes doesn’t mean you can’t wear contact lenses! Check with our eye care professional to see if your eyes are suited for contacts.
To get long-lasting comfort, look for technology especially designed to bind to water and increase hydration. Check out the benefits that goes into Aveo lenses!
Airborne allergens like pollen can build up on contact lenses, making your eyes itchy, watery, red, and just generally being irritating. To ensure your lenses aren’t carrying allergen irritants from one day to the next, consider using Aveo Hello Daily contacts or Aveo Joy Daily toric contacts for astigmatism if you have allergies.
No way! Wearing contact lenses longer than their intended use, even if they still feel comfortable, is super unhygienic and can lead to infections and serious harm to your eyes. Always stick to the replacement frequency recommended by our eye care professional. With daily disposable contact lenses like Aveo Hello Daily or Aveo Joy Daily toric contacts for astigmatism you start the day with a fresh pair of clean, comfortable lenses!
No! It is recommended that lenses prescribed on a frequent replacement schedule should be replaced with fresh new lenses every month or at intervals recommended by our Eye Care Professional. Wearing contact lenses longer than their intended use may put you at significant risks of developing infection and harm to your eyes. Check out the benefit of our Aveo Hello monthly contacts or Aveo Joy toric for astigmatism monthly contacts!
Nope! If you only need contacts for certain occasions, such as driving or looking at your computer screen, or if you wear contacts while playing sports to avoid injury from broken glasses, daily disposable contacts might be your best bet. Daily contacts are also great for outdoor activities like camping and hiking! Learn more about Aveo daily contact lenses.
Contacts have a right way and a wrong way, which our eye care professional will demonstrate during an exam. But if in doubt, here’s how to tell if your contact lens is inside out:
- Wash and dry your hands, then place a lens on the tip of your finger
- Hold it up and look at the lens from the side
- If you’ve got it right, the edges will turn slightly inward
- If it’s inside out, the edges will look like they’re bending outward
- When correcting it, make sure to flip it gently to prevent tearing!
Wearing contacts inside out can affect your vision, and cause discomfort and irritation.
We’re happy to bust this myth. You have a thin membrane called the conjunctiva between your eyelids and eyeballs. Its continuous nature prevents contacts from getting behind your eyes.
If you’re not sure whether the lens is still on your eye, you can check your vision by covering the other eye. If vision is blurry, the lens may be off-center or not in the eye at all.
No. Tap water, or any other type of water, contains lots of microorganisms that can potentially cause serious eye infections. Always use contact lens solution to clean and store your lenses. If cleaning and storing lenses isn’t your jam, Aveo Hello Daily or Aveo Joy Daily toric for astigmatism are the contacts for you!
No way! Solution re-use reduces effectiveness of lens disinfection and may lead to serious eye infection. Always use fresh unexpired soft lens multipurpose solution (MPS) and discard any remaining solution after recommended time period indicated on the MPS bottle.
To reduce chances of contact lens solution contamination, do not touch the tip of container on any surface. Replace cap after using. And, do not transfer the MPS to other bottles.
Totally! There are lots of benefits to wearing contacts while playing sports aside from just sharper, clearer vision. Contacts give you a wider field of view than glasses, aren’t affected by reflections or rain, and they won’t fog when you work up that sweat. Aveo contact lenses also incorporate Class II UV protection, to keep your eyes safe when playing outside.
WARNING: UV-absorbing contact lenses do not serve as substitutes for protective UV-absorbing eyewear as they do not entirely cover the eye and surrounding areas. The patient should continue to use their UV-absorbing eyewear as recommended.
NOTE: Exposure to UV radiation over a long period of time may result in cataracts. The exposure may be from personal factors such as the extent and nature of outdoor activities; and environmental conditions such as altitude, cloud cover and geography. UV-blocking contact lenses shield against harmful radiation. However, clinical studies have not been undertaken to demonstrate that contact lenses with UV-blocking properties reduces risk of cataract development or other ocular disorders. The patient should consult his/her Eye Care Professional for more information.
Maybe, but you should always check with your eye care professional or your ophthalmologist to confirm if and when you can wear contacts after eye surgery. LASIK surgery permanently alters the shape of your cornea, but it doesn’t prevent age-related farsightedness (presbyopia) developing later in life, and the need for future vision correction.
One of the most important things to consider — besides your prescription and unique eye needs — is the difference between daily disposable and frequent replacement prescription contact lenses.
Daily disposable lenses like Aveo Hello Daily and Aveo Joy Daily toric for astigmatism are used for a day, then thrown away. No need for cleaning or hogging cabinet space with lens cases and solution bottles!
Monthly replacement lenses, like Aveo Hello and Aveo Joy toric for astigmatism are reused for one month or at intervals recommended by our Eye Care Professional. These are great for the regular contact lens wearers as it’s the most budget-friendly option. However, daily cleaning is required.
When buying contacts from us, be sure to pick the lenses which are recommended by our in-house licensed optometrist to best suit your lifestyle and needs. Some lenses are also made for extended wear (you can sleep in them for a set period), or even longer use, but Aveo prefers to provide lenses with a shorter wear cycle. Swapping in fresh lenses more frequently reduces the risk of discomfort and harmful buildup.
